The “Wizard of Oz” opens Nov. 4 at the University of Saint Francis Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center.
Presented by the USF School of Creative Arts, L. Frank Baum’s beloved story was the first American fantasy for children and one of the most-read children’s books. The 1939 film starring Judy Garland was nominated for six Academy Awards and won Best Original Song for “Over the Rainbow.” The film was reintroduced to the public with annual broadcasts that began in 1956 earning it the title “most-watched motion picture in history!”
USF is offering a special event after the Sunday matinees with a chance to have your little munchkins become official members of the Lollipop Guild!
Performances will be presented Friday through Sunday, November 4-6 and 11-13, at the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center, 431 W. Berry St., Fort Wayne.

Tickets are available through ArtsTix Community Box Office at 260-422-4226 or online anytime at tickets.artstix.org. Ticket prices are $18 for adults and $15 for seniors 65 years or older and children under 18. Group rates of $12 per person are available to groups of 20 or more.
