Free workshop offered for beginning farmers


Purdue Extension will host a beginning farmer workshop from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne.

This workshop will feature experienced farmers and specialists covering the topics of beekeeping, aquaponics, food safety, poultry/meat/egg regulations, pastured poultry, and farmer resources. The workshop will also promote networking.
