Cherry Blossom Festival


The 11th annual Fort Wayne Cherry Blossom Festival was Sunday, May 8, at the downtown Allen County Public Library.

The festival was organized to introduced Japanese culture to northeast Indiana and the surrounding areas. Japanese dance, music and food were all celebrated along with martial arts, origami and anime characters.

This year also marks the 40th anniversary of the Sister City agreement between Fort Wayne and Takaoka, Japan.
