Architecture and Community Heritage – Fort Wayne hosted the 2017 ARCH Historic Home and Garden Tour Saturday, June 24.

This year, ARCH partnered with the Lafayette Place Neighborhood Association for its annual tour.

Attendees had the opportunity to tour 11 homes and one garden during the event. The homes are great examples of a variety of historic home styles including Craftsman, bungalows and mid-century ranches, according to ARCH.

Also, while the tour was ongoing, artists and vendors set up in Lafayette Park to provide food and shopping opportunities for those in attendance.

The next ARCH event this summer is “Dearly Departed,” at Lindenwood Cemetery, 2334 W. Main St. Stories of notable and notorious women of Fort Wayne’s past will be shared as attendees visit the women’s grave sites.
