A Dancer’s Legacy

Fort Wayne Ballet will open its 61st season with “A Dancer’s Legacy” 7:30 p.m. Sept. 22-23 at the Arts United Center. These performances will kick off the season with a beautifully assembled tribute to master choreographers Gerald Arpino and Edward Stierle. On the bill are Arpino’s Confetti and Light Rain and Stierle’s Lacrymosa.

Fort Wayne Ballet was granted special permission from the Gerald Arpino Foundation and the Stierle Family to perform these works, making “A Dancer’s Legacy” an extremely prestigious performance not only for Fort Wayne Ballet but for the entire Fort Wayne arts community.

Audience members are invited to come early to the Arts United Center plaza on Main Street for a casual supper with Fort Wayne’s finest food trucks beginning at 5:30pm both Sept. 22 and 23.
