Culver’s restaurants in Fort Wayne and Warsaw will donate a portion of the Wednesday, Nov. 1, sales to Honor Flight Northeast Indiana.

Culver’s will donate 20 percent of sales from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. The Culver’s five franchises are owned by three independent groups. Bob and Sandy Giesler own Dupont and Washington Center locations; Maureen Hamilton is the owner of the West Jefferson Culver’s; Matt and Melyssa Lennington co-own the Stellhorn and Warsaw locations. The five franchises combined have raised more than $55,000 to date in store sales and donations at the stores.

In a statement, Honor Flight Board President Dennis Covert said the organization is very appreciative of Culver’s long-standing support for HFNEI. “The two annual Culver’s-sponsored Honor Flight Days have become an important part of our fundraising effort and we look forward to continuing our relationship with Culver’s,” Covert said.

Honor Flight NE Indiana Inc. provides veterans with trips to the nation’s capital to see the memorials build in their honor.
