“First 100” event offers participants free Chick-fil-A meals for a year

Chick-fil-A plans to open a new location in Fort Wayne Jan. 17, according to an emailed announcement from the Atlanta-based franchise.

To celebrate the restaurant’s opening, the company plans to give away free Chick-fil-A meals for a year to up to 100 adults at its First 100 Campout event.

Local franchise owner and operator Jeff Hoffman invites residents to join in the opening festivities at his new restaurant, 182 W. Coliseum Blvd., by participating in the community celebration.

According to the statement, the family-friendly event will include activities for all ages with food served throughout the countdown to the opening.

Registration begins in the restaurant parking lot at 6 a.m. Jan. 16. Up to 100 adults have the opportunity to win a digital offer card with a year of free Chick-fil-A meals (52 meals consisting of a sandwich, medium waffle fries and medium beverage).

The event is open to guests surrounding the restaurant with a list of eligible zip codes and complete rules found at //thechickenwire.chick-fil-a.com/News/Future-Openings.

Hoffman is also looking to hire new employees to work in all areas of the restaurant. For more information, visit www.cfacoliseumjobs.com.

Hoffman opened Fort Wayne’s Jefferson Pointe location in 2002.

“We are truly excited to bring another Chick-fil-A to Fort Wayne and have an opportunity to continue serving our community outside our new restaurant,” he said in the emailed statement. “We know our guests will find the same freshly prepared food and genuine hospitality they’ve come to expect from our Chick-fil-A team over the years.”

The new 4,000-square-foot restaurant features a dining room that seats 112 customers, mobile ordering parking spots with designated inside pickup counter and a two-lane drive-thru.

Hours will be 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily except Sundays. Breakfast will be served until 10:30 a.m.
