(Fort Wayne, IN) – The annual Girl Scout cookie sale will end Sunday, March 17. Don’t miss your last chance to purchase a few more boxes of your favorite varieties! Girl Scout cookies make great gifts for all the special people in your life, and they also freeze well. Watch for Girl Scouts of all ages selling cookies at booth sales around town this weekend. Don’t forget to ask the Girl Scouts what skills they are learning by selling cookies, as well as their plans for spending the profits.
If you’d like to support Girl Scouts without buying cookies, you can take advantage of the Operation Cookie Share program. Through this program, customers purchase “virtual” cookies that are donated to military troops, hospitalized veterans, food banks and other nonprofit organizations.
