Ivy Tech Fort Wayne to host automotive I-Career and job fair events on Wednesday

FORT WAYNE — Ivy Tech Community College Fort Wayne is hosting two events on Wednesday, April 17: an automotive I-Career day aimed at high school students and the Automotive/Diesel job fair, which is open to the campus and community.

During the I-Career event, approximately 230 high school students will be connected with automotive program chairs, current students, and their career interests. Students will have the chance speak with automotive instructors, explore our auto bays, attend the career fair, and take tours of The Steel Dynamics, Inc. Keith E. Busse Technology Center.

Ivy Tech Fort Wayne will also host an Automotive/Diesel Job Fair on Wednesday, where 20+ automotive and diesel technology recruiters will meet with Ivy Tech students and alumni, as well as the community. Employers in attendance will include Aerotek, Auto Truck Group, Belle Tire, C&P Machine, Citilink, Don Ayres Honda, Grote Mistubishi, Kelley Automotive Group, Materials Handling Equipment, and NAPA.
