Vendors and other model railroad enthusiasts fill Coliseum Bingo in Fort Wayne on Saturday for the Maumee Valley Railroad Club Model Show and Swap. Bill Piercy of Fort Wayne, who belongs to the Northeast Indiana N Scale Railroaders, operates his train for the spectators. Matthew Seymore of Fort Wayne shops as he holds railroad hobbyist Robbie, age 2 and a half. Layla Hamblin of Fort Wayne helps pack up the kids’ model trains after the show. Nickel Plate memorabilia is very popular in the Fort Wayne market, said Rick Popp of Fort Wayne, who takes his inventory to about 30 shows a year. The railroaders return to Coliseum Bingo on Nov. 17.
