Dialogue about race begins Wednesday

Trinity English Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne will be host to a “frank and open” dialogue about race on eight consecutive Wednesday evenings. All are invited.

Fort Wayne United’s Chris Cathcart, a vice chancellor at Ivy Tech, will assist the group to “get to the heart of what’s behind the challenges of meeting new friends from different backgrounds.”

The program begins Wednesday, March 14, in Room 111 of the Education Wing of Trinity ELC, 450 W. Washington Blvd., Fort Wayne, with discussion from 6:30-8 p.m. Child care will be provided during those hours. Check the program description for further details, a Fort Wayne United resource video, and a link to a further study of the issue in the church’s Thinking Out Loud magazine.

All are invited to share in a community dinner at 6 p.m. in Trinity’s Wagenhals Hall.
