Jefferson Pointe has been sold back to the company that built it.
Broker Holliday Fenoglio Fowler L.P. announced the sale of the 407,000 square foot lifestyle center Monday to Arizon-based RED Development.
The seller was Institutional Mall Investors LLC. The deal was completed earlier this month. RED owns the property as Jefferson Pointe Center SPE LLC.
RED built the lifestyle center — a term used to describe a shopping center that is restaurant- and entertainment-oriented — in 2000, but sold it a few years later.
The center is anchored by Von Maur, which owns its store property separately, and AMC Theaters, which recently purchased the 18-screen theater complex from Carmike.
Other tenants include Bed Bath & Beyond, Barnes & Noble, Marshalls, Ulta Beauty, Old Navy, White House Black Market, Vera Bradley, DeBrand Chocolates, Michaels and Tucanos Brazilian Grill. Several restaurants are situated on outlets at the southwest Fort Wayne center, most notably Biaggi’s and Eddie Merlot.
