‘Favorite Things’ popularat Bishop Luers in April



April will be another busy month at Bishop Luers High School, 333 E. Paulding Road, Fort Wayne.

“A Knight of My Favorite Things” is the theme for Bishop Luers High School’s LuersKnight 2018 on Saturday, April 21. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The 38th annual dinner and auction opens with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 5:30 p.m. Dinner and entertainment follows. Cost is $150 per person, cocktail attire, with black tie optional. Arrive through Entrance 3 by the cafeteria.

Preview Knight will be Friday, April 20, from 7-9 p.m. Preview Knight offers a sneak peak of LuersKnight. Admission is $5 per person. The atmosphere is relaxed and includes hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The event is open to the public. Some items will be up for bid and may be taken home that evening. Enter through the gymnasium doors near the football field.

The theme of LuersKnight highlights the spring musical, “The Sound of Music.” The drama department will present the musical at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, April 27 and 28, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 29, in the school gymnasium.
