JCPenney, Purdue talk professional wear

JCPenney and Purdue University Fort Wayne’s career service center are encouraging students to dress for success through Suit Up.

The program will see PFW volunteers and staff walking students through the dos and don’ts of dressing for an interview. The JCPenney team will also be on hand to discuss current career and professional wear trends, proper sizing tips and how to tie a tie.

Students will also enjoy a 40 percent discount on purchases from the store to help them craft their own professional look. The store’s Sephora counter will also offer free makeovers and salon consultations to some students and the photo center will take professional headshots for a fee.

The event will take place after closing time at JCPenney’s Glenbrook Mall location on Sept. 8 and is open to PFW students.
