Sweetwater expects to fill more than 130 jobs in its distribution center in the next few weeks as a result of adding second and third weekday shifts and a part-time weekend shift.
The company said Sept. 17 that the shift additions had created immediate job opportunities for all shifts for equipment operators and shipping and receiving specialists. Sweetwater’s announcement also said the company recently increased its pay structure for the positions, with potential starting rates of pay between $13-$15 an hour, depending on such factors as prior experience and which shift a candidate is able to work.
Full-time Sweetwater employees and their families enjoy many benefits, including paid time off and a number of insurance options including medical, dental, life and short- and long-term disability. All Sweetwater employees, including part-time employees, can use its free medical clinic, health club with a personal trainer, racquetball court, indoor golf simulator, game room, video lending library, 401K plan, on-site diner and coffee shop and employee discounts.
Sweetwater, at 5501 U.S. 30 West, already employs about 1,400 in its music business.
