Members of the national Pierce-Arrow Society drive through the Aboite area on their way to a private lunch June 12.
The club’s annual meeting took place in Angola last week, which included a tour of such local sites as the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum, the Mid-America Windmill Museum, Pokagon State Park and more.
Pierce-Arrows were manufactured from 1901-1938 by the Pierce-Arrow Motorcar Co., based in Buffalo, New York. While best known for its luxury autos, the company also made motorcycles, bicycles, campers, fire trucks and commercial trucks.
